What is so 'eco' about the store?
Everything we do in our operations is put under the green microscope to try and reduce the footprint of our product. Invoices are emailed instead of printed, and all boxes are made of recycled cardboard. We also took a lot of time and effort designing a great bag to keep our product in. First, our bag is re-usable. It is a durable paper bag with a tie at the top so it can be used for a number of food products when you are done with it. Secondly, it is compostable. If you can't think of anything to put in it when you are done, then throw it in your compost bin!


What makes you guys such coffee experts?!
We have been roasting coffee since 2004 for our own cafe as well as restaurants and cafes all over southern Ontario. We have years to fine tune our skills, learn the ins and outs, dos and don'ts, and so many other tricks in our trade. We truly love everything about coffee and rarely have a day where we don't learn something new.


Why are your prices considerably lower than other online coffee stores?
Ecocoffeestore.com is proud to be a very efficiently run company, which means we don't have all sorts of extra expenses that we need to hide in the price of our coffee. We are a division of Eco Coffee Corporation, which means we don't have to include the rent of our space, or the cost of our labour in what you pay...all this has already been paid for in other ventures. For example, we have a humble, well run work space instead of a fancy store front in a high rent retail area. We also carry low levels of inventory that is constantly rotating, instead of having overhead expenses tied up in product that is just sitting on the shelf.


Why do you need 48 hours to ship an order?
The 48 hour window is for our roasted coffee. No coffee is roasted until it is ordered, which ensures that you are getting the freshest product possible.


I received the wrong coffee in my order!
Let us know right away and we'll rush an order out to you immediately. Don't worry about trying to return the incorrect product - our mistake, your gain!


When will you be getting more of coffee XX in?
Due to supply/demand and the volatility of the world coffee market, we can't have a steady supply of every origin all the time. We will try our best to always have a healthy stock of our best sellers, and if there is something you're dying to try let us know and we'll do whatever we can to get you some!


Can I have my coffee order roasted in a specific profile?
We have been roasting these coffees for over 5 years and consider the standard profile for each as the optimum. In the future we may opt to offer choice in this area, but for the time being trust our judgement, or get yourself a roaster and experiment!


Do you ship outside of Canada?
We are currently only shipping in Canada, we are working on expanding into other countries. As we finalize export status, we shall keep you informed.
